We
develop and provide differentiated logistics solutions for the management
of the supply chain and distribution of products to four clients.
Our solutions combine various logistics services, including storage,
customs storage, distribution, highway transportation, multimodal
transportation and NVOCC.
- Storage: consists of customized storage services
based upon fraction of the cargo and storage rotation. Our storage
services also include the analysis of the operations of systems,
personnel and equipment. We render these services in warehouses
dedicated to, in each case, one single client, shared warehouses
(where the cargo of several clients is stored) or through the
operations inside the facilities of clients.
- Customs storage: refers to the storage of cargo
at ports and airports before being cleared at customs. We have
the concession of the Seco Port in Santo André, in the
state of Sa˜o Paulo, (formerly known as EADI—Estado
Aduaneira de Interior) with a total area of 92,000 square meters,
33,000 square meters of warehouses, with quick access, and transportation
infrastructure from the Santos Port and to the airports of Guarulhos,
Congonhas and Viracopos, in São Paulo, the three largest
cargo airports in Brazil and in Latin America.
- Distribution: consists of services rendered in
the distribution of products from warehouses using many types
of transportation and an extensive network of carriers.
- Highway transportation: involves the rendering
of services in the highway transportation of containers and is
offered in the main Brazilian container ports. In addition to
the transportation of containers, our operations involve the
collection of empty containers for reloading (consolidation in
the case of exports) or the return of empty containers after
unloading (deconsolidation in the case of imports).
- Multimodal transportation: is the rendering of
services in the transportation of cargo through the integration
of several types of transportation from logistics design, customized
for each operation, based on information systems and quality
standards to assure the efficient selection of the type of transportation
and the carriers rendering the respective service.
- NVOCC — Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier:
consists of services specialized in the transportation of cargo
consolidated in containers through the purchase of location in
third-party vessels—that is, the sale of the freight to
several clients and storage of the cargo in a single container
to be transported by third parties. See “Related-party
Transactions.”
