We currently operate a port terminal through a leasing agreement (with purchase option) on Conceição Island, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Moreover, we also coordinate operations in several public ports along the Brazilian coast according to our clients’ needs. In 2004, 2005 and 2006, we served 223, 343 and 223 vessels, respectively. In the Port Terminals segment supporting the petroleum industry, we have developed the following activities: (i) load and unload of PSV, (ii) management of inventories and port services, (iii) supply of water, barn and fluids, (iv) storage of drilling tubes and other equipment, (v) control and handling of tax documentation, and (vi) final disposal of the waste.
We operate terminal ports to support the oil industry through our subsidiary Brasco, in which we hold a 75% stake.
