Wilson Sons was the first company of its sector to sign the United Nations´ Global Compact. In Brazil, it is the action which mobilizes the corporate community to adopt social responsibility policies, the point of reference being ten principles in the areas of human and employment rights, environmental protection and the war against corruption. - Voluntary publication of the Corporate Inventory of Greenhouse Gases
A continued practice that fosters transparency of information through the publication of the Public Register of Emissions. Wilson Sons gave the first step towards establishing a policy for climate change, and was one of the first Brazilian companies in the naval and port industries to adopt the methodology and to issue its own inventory.
