The intensive investment in HSE is part of the corporate strategy of Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore.
The company has a strong HSE program focused on the prevention of accidents and the strengthening of the culture, seeking a continuous improvement in the operations performance, guaranteeing excellence on the services provided.

Committed to the safety of its employees, Wilson  Sons UltraTug Offshore has implemented since  2014 a HSE culture transformation program called  WSUT+. The program is based on the  establishment and review of procedures and  processes, operational discipline, management of  deviations, organizational line responsibility, behavioral approach and leadership engagement.
In qualitative terms, the goal of WSUT+ is to  achieve and maintain an interdependent culture in  HSE management, in which all people care about  and act on the HSE agenda, without necessarily  belonging to that area. In quantitative terms, the  main objective of the project is to reduce accident  frequency and severity rates, implement and  maintain behavioral observation routines and safe  HSE practices, among other proactive  performance indicators.

We are committed to provide and meet the health  needs of our employees, using mechanisms and  actions aimed on mapping loss ratio and  investigating their potential causes, with the  implementation of programs focused on  prevention. We participate of educational  campaigns of the Health in Motion Program,  created in 2015 preserving the health and  promoting the quality of life and well-being of our  employees in our operations.

The WSUT Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Management System complies with the International Safety Management Code (ISM Code) and ISO 9001: 2015 certification, both issued by Lloyd's Register. These codes represent an international standard of management and rule setting that make ships and port facilities safer in compliance with the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (“SOLAS”) and the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (“MARPOL”). In addition, we run our Integrated Management System also based on OHSAS 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
WSUT is confident that proper Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) management reduces operational risks, improves service performance, attracts and retains talented professionals.
