    Offshore Support Bases

    Pioneers in the segment of private offshore support bases and widely recognized for our excellence in HSE and operational performance, we have developed integrated logistics solutions to support oil exploration and production activities throughout the Brazilian coast.

    We are strategically located in the Guanabara Bay, the main hub for logistical support to the Santos and Campos basins, one in Niterói, with three docking berths, and the other in Rio de Janeiro, with five berths, in addition to the area in Guaxindiba (Rio de Janeiro) for the storage of drill pipes and other equipment.

The portfolio includes specialized solutions in the areas of port terminals, maritime towage, logistics, maritime agency, support for exploration and development of the oil and gas industry and naval industry.

    Offshore Support Vessels

    In compliance with worldwide safety standards, we offer logistic services to support oil and gas exploration and production activities in Brazil. Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore (“WSUT”) is a 50% joint venture between Wilson Sons and the Chilean group Ultramar, which has 23 Brazilian flagged offshore support vessels, and one of the largest and most modern fleets in the country.

Our story

Edward Pellew Wilson founds Wilson Sons & Company in Salvador, operating in the coal trade.
1850
In this decade, Edward II installs in Recife (PE) Wilson, Brothers and Co, which deals with dozens of products, develops the navigation area, works in the port and sets up his own shipyard.
1957
The head office returns to Rio de Janeiro. The activities focus on navigation (agency) and tugboats.
1994
Wilson Sons Shipping Agency is constructed.
