Recertified in 2018, ISO 9001: 2015 determines standardization of terminal operating processes, which includes handling and storage of containers for export, import, cabotage, transhipment and inland navigation.
ISO 14001 - Tecon Rio Grande was certified in February 2018. ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized policy aimed to minimize environmental impacts and improve performance in this area, thereby reducing costs.

International code for the safety and security of ships and port facilities, elaborated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), belonging to the United Nations (UN) and approved by the Brazilian Government as a law. Tecon deployed the code in 2005.
